  • Wave height: 2.0 to 3.0 meters
  • Weather: Scattered moderate showers and isolated thundershowers expected. Rough seas.  Hazy conditions.           

Evening/Night (MAY 26/27, 2026):

  • Wind direction: From NE to E
  • Wind speed: 22 to 37 km/h, with gusts up to 50 km/h (Beaufort scale 4–5, gusts up to 6–7)
  • Wave direction: From NE to E
  • Wave height: 1.8 to 2.8 meters.
  • Weather: Scattered moderate showers and thundershowers continue. Rough seas expected. Hazy conditions.

Outlook along the coast of Suriname MAY 27 – MAY 29, 2026:

MAY 26-27: Tropical wave exits domain westward; trade winds ease to NE to E at 22-37 km/h, gusts to 50 km/h (Bft 4-5). Waves subsiding to 1.5-2.5 meters. Scattered moderate showers possible, mainly south of 08N.

Visibility generally 8 to 10 km, reduced in showers. Hazy conditions.       

MAY 27-28:

High pressure ridge strengthens; NE to E winds 19-35 km/h, gusts to 46 km/h (Bft 4-5). Waves 1.2-2.0 meters. Generally fair weather with isolated light showers.
